- 🥧 456g Premium Food-Safe Ceramic Pie Blind Baking Beans
Uniform round white ceramic pellets total 456 grams, the ideal weight to fill pie crust shells for blind baking. Prevents pastry puffing, bubbling and rising during pre-baking without filling.
- Heat Resistant Solid Ceramic Construction
High-temperature fired ceramic withstands oven heat up to 260°C / 500°F, evenly distributes heat across the base of tart, quiche and pie shells for consistent crisp crusts. Will not melt, warp or absorb grease unlike rice, beans or metal weights.
- Smooth Non-Porous Round Spherical Design
Smooth polished white spheres won’t scratch delicate pastry dough or tear parchment paper. Non-absorbent surface repels oil, butter and food odours, never turning stale or picking up leftover flavours from baking.
- Reusable & Easy to Clean
Fully reusable hundreds of baking sessions. Simply cool completely, brush off crumbs or rinse under cool water to remove grease residue; air dry fully before storage. Far more durable than disposable rice, lentils and sugar.
- Multi-Size Pastry Compatibility
Works perfectly for small tart pans, standard 9-inch pie plates, deep dish quiche tins and flan rings. Compact pellets nest tightly together to fully line every curve of pastry shells, eliminating air pockets that cause uneven baking.
